Laurie began growing dahlias in 2019 in a small raised bed behind the blacksmith shop. After bartering goat dairy for tubers with farmer friends, and adding new varieties from reputable sources (Arrowhead Dahlias, Dahlia Shed and Russells Mills Flower Company), the obsession has grown to 40+ varieties and 200+ plants in a dedicated garden space in the former pig pasture. My biosecurity protocols are tight and any plants or tubers showing disease during the season or at digging are carefully disposed of off-property.
Flowers bring so much joy! You can find cups, jars and large bouquets on the roadside self-serve stand from early August to first frost. I also supply DIY party planners and brides, and local florists.
In fall of 2025 I spent days and days AND DAYS digging and dividing each clump of tubers. Since they're powered by goat poop they were ginormous! Hence, a tuber sale this spring.
I will ship beginning around 4/15, once threat of freezing nights in my zone has abated, and once tubers have very awake/active eyes.
If you're local and prefer to pick up your tubers here at the farm in 02790, choose that shipping option and message me to coordinate pick-up.
I've released 80% of my inventory in this sale. Any remaining tubers will be sold at the self-serve roadside stand beginning mid-May until sold out.
I don't grow unicorns. I grow workhorse varieties in a rainbow of colors that excel as cut flowers. I've priced the tubers reasonably so all gardeners can enjoy them!
The Shop Now button below will take you to my shopify store, where you'll see all available varieties. If a variety is listed as unavailable, it is sold out. Sorry!
